#i remembered descendants existed #so after i saw through the soul crushing depression of that being real #i remembered that Harry and Ben were written #and i was like yay #cuz theyve said the phrases #“and you my little ducking are ravishing”#and “idk lets get the anti love spell a little while to take effect” followed by the laughter of a man who's realized that every woman #he will ever love only cares about his status and not him and hes fucking loosing it #but he has to keep it together because hes about to be crowned king at the age of 16 #respectively #and its not good writing but its funny #and they get like no screentime #very very crying about it #the women who abuse ben get to have screen time though #that made me very upset #but they do get a scene where ben is tied up on a pirate ship and harry makes fun of hi #and it is VERY homoerotic #they get like a combined 40 minutes of screentime most of which involves them being overshadowed #by the stereotypical girlboss woman #aka mal (fucking hate that bitch)#so fuck Disney #they crushed the very little joy i tried to find in their movies #the mattel and mga thing is self explanatory #ben florian #harry hook #god their names are so awful #and their outfits #resisting the urge to write a whole fixing the 2 of them thing

A little 15 min doodle but first post of the year has to be Bingqiu!

#ok its time to get mushy in the tags because I doubt anyone would read them too closely #I’ve had severe art block for YEARS before I got into danmei in 2024 #and it wasn’t that my skill was gone it’s just that I thought nothing I did was good enough #I started reading danmei around the summer of last year and I got SO INSPIRED #I dived into the fandom side of things (I haven’t been in a live fandom in years) and was so excited about all the art people were making #and writing! and music! and animatics!#everything was so bright and colorful and beautiful #and everyone had such cool designs for these book characters that I’d grown to love #so I took a chance and doodled a little Luo Binghe and posted him on here #and I was so taken aback by how welcoming and sweet the fandom was #it made me wanna keep taking chances and posting my art— because I think that’s one of the hardest things I’ve come to accept #that even if it’s not good enough for me #someone else may enjoy it #and ain’t it crazy that ive come to enjoy drawing again too #sure the interaction has been fun but it’s been even more fun experimenting with my style and experimenting with colors and rendering #and grayscale and angles #and composition and expressions #ahh!! art is so fun!! Here's my controversial opinion; if you're trying to write Bruce as a non-abusive, good parent, you should also write him respecting his kids' privacy, boundaries, and not stalking&surveying them.

You guys are hosting a movie night for your friends and he's sitting on the floor next to the couch you're on. Your hand finds his head, fingers itching to ruffle his hair and pet him like a dog. But someone asks you to pass the bowl of popcorn and Jason feels the absence of the warmth of your fingers. He tries to be patient, to wait for you to start petting playing with his hair but he's getting restless already. What's taking you so long? You're busy with the remote, fighting with Leo and Hazel, trying to figure out which movie to watch. Nope, can't wait, won't wait. Jason tugs at your hands, looks at you with those pleading eyes. How could you be so cruel, meum cor? And how could you? You toss the remote at Leo, let him pick whatever crappy movie he wants. Jason's hand is already guiding yours back to his head.

Jason Grace is a simple man with simple needs; you playing with his hair happens to be one of the most important ones.
